Sixers loss to Miami Heat

One of the highlight of the game was when Heat forward Udonis Haslem grabs Andre Iguodala after fouling him in the first half.
The Sixers host the Miami Heat in this Eastern Conference matchup, February 16, 2019 at Wachovia Center. Unfortunately the night was obviously not on their side. They missed wide-open dunks for three times and other chances of winning.
This is their first game and yet they suffered a disappointing 105-78 loss to the Miami Heat at the Wachovia Center in a game that was over midway through the third quarter.
The Sixers finished the game shooting 37.9 percent from the field, but they shot 26.3 percent in the second quarter and 31.8 percent in the third.
The teams combined for eight turnovers in the quarter. Most of the Sixers’ field goals came from around the rim. The Sixers had 10 field goals in the period, seven of them coming inside the paint. Miami led, 23-21, after one.
At the start of the second quarter, Miami heat started to work for the win while the Sixers were left behind. On this quarter the Sixers shot a disappointing 5 for 19 and scored 14 pts.
Miami won the game even without Wade, who rested on the bench after collecting six points and four assists in the first quarter.
